Paul and Kathy Shields two Santa Barbara locals, founded Savoy Cafe & Deli back in 2005 providing one of the healthiest and highest quality restaurants in town. Many of the products used are organic, while Savoy offers many Vegan, Gluten free, Keto and Paleo options. Working alongside Paul and Kathy are their four sons who have dedicated many hours to provide the best experience for customers.
Paul, began cooking professionally at the age of 14 and has a combined 40+ years of restaurant, hotel and natural foods kitchen experience. As Director of Prepared Foods at Lazy Acres Market from 1994-2004, Paul assisted the owners in creating one of the top producing natural foods market & deli in the country.
Kathy has spent many years working at local restaurants, and serving the community. Kathy's baking skills continue to impress Santa Barbara locals with amazing deserts such as the local favorite carrot cake, daily baked cookies, muffins, pies and many more, while her baking goods are always highlighted by the high quality ingredients. Gluten free, dairy free and Vegan desserts are also baked daily for customers to enjoy.
